enjoy all their normal rights, including the right to privacy, confidentiality,
freedom of speech and conscience, the practice of their religion, and freedom
from discrimination.
Further, our residents have a right to:
- A full assessment of their individual needs.
- Access to specialist services.
- An individual care plan to meet the requirements, needs and choices of the
resident.
- Participation in the preparation of the care plan.
- An advocate to speak on their behalf, if need be.
- An effective complaints system.
The Home is run with due regard to the sex, sexual orientation, religious
persuasion, racial origin and cultural and linguistic background and any
disability of service users.
